Quick update as we ramp up for our public beta test.

In anticipation of Beta, we have updated the launcher. Most code has been rewritten to catch more edge cases in which the launcher would get stuck in an endless update loop.

Those who had the launcher already should be able to update the launcher by starting the old launcher itself, it is self-updating.
